Hundreds of thousands of tourists and locals only have to travel 15 minutes from Montpellier to cool off in Palavas-les-flots, Carnon, Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone or La Grande-Motte.

What’s the plan?

Option 1: switch off, digital detox, chill-out, private beaches, towels and sunscreen.

Option 2: Take your picnic, towels and swimsuits over to Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone.
You simply have to visit Maguelone Cathedral before you hit the beach! It whisks you back to bygone times between the vineyards and lagoons.

If you’re feeling pumped then go paddleboarding or have a go at kitesurfing!
