Méric Park is a 10 hectares park in the middle of Montpellier, on the Méric estate, where lived the painter Bazille and his family. Bazille found there inspiration for his work.
Two terraces overlook the Lez River and offer a nice view of Castelnau-le-Lez.
The park is famous for its meadow full of poppies in the month of April. There is also a dog area, a kid playground and interesting plants (mediterranean wood, hundreds-year-old- trees, a landscaped garden...)
