The private beaches, seaside drinks

6pm: let the evening begin!
How about not going straight home but spending some quality time with friends instead tonight?
What a treat! Montpellier is only 15 minutes from the big blue.

Let’s get ready and go to the beach!

After a quick 11km hop we’re there!
First of all: let’s choose “our” private beach to unwind tonight.
That’s right, there are lots of private beaches between Frontignan and Le Grau du Roi! There’s something for everyone: family-friendly, trendy, sporty, chilled, foodie and more.
After texting my friends we plump for Villeneuve les Maguelone and Carré Mer.

As soon as we get out of the car, my friends and I swap our heels for sliders and some even gobarefoot in the sand.
As is often the case at beach huts, it’s all about natural materials, untreated wood and white reigns supreme here. The vibe is seriously ZEN! It’s time for some souvenir photos! We have fun, laugh and let off steam!

Unobstructed views of the Mediterranean

We settle into our loungers, gaze out at the Mediterranean and enjoy this magical moment. We start our evening with a cocktail or Languedoc wine and tapas. We chat and unwind.

Dinner with sunset views

The night goes on and the sun sets over the sea. Magical! We take a few selfies to make our friends jealous. It’s time for dinner. Phew! There’s a table left for 5. We fancy Mediterranean food and local produce: a fish platter served with seasonal vegetables and a huge ice cream to finish.

The DJ on the decks turns the energy up. Isn’t this great?
We hit the dancefloor barefoot and boogie on down whilst the rest of us lounge about on mattresses and gaze at the starry sky. Time stands still!

What an amazing way to switch off!
