Demeter refers to an international movement of biodynamic agriculture which, if certified, results in a label that goes beyond organic agriculture, also taking a regenerative approach.
This essentially means that the Demeter label includes even higher standards than the organic label:
100% organic and biodynamic farms
a deep respect for life in all its forms
the development of more self-sufficient farms that promote biodiversity
a high respect for Demeter-certified raw materials during processing: the use of processing techniques that do not de-structure the food and the use of very few additives – even natural ones.
