The What A Trip ! Festival What is it ?

Since 2017, the Montpellier International Travel and Adventure Film Festival has brought together nearly 40,000 people in the heart of Montpellier.

The opportunity for visitors to discover new cultures through screenings followed by discussions with the film crews, photo exhibitions, but also concerts, workshops, conferences and a travel fair offered in a village are all opportunities to discover the different cultures of our planet.

A 3-in-1 festival with the possibility of seeing the films live on site or online and in replay.

Focus on... The What A Trip ! Festival's exhibitions

What A Trip! it is about testimonies of adventure travel told in different forms: films, conferences, workshops and photographic exhibitions in Montpellier and its metropolis.

Among the places concerned: the Place royale du Peyrou, the magnificent castle of Castries…

Every year, the Tourist Office notably hosts a beautiful exhibition in its reception garden, Place de la Comédie.

Photography can touch us deeply when it denounces but can also invite us to smile or dream when it sublimates the beauty of our world, its landscapes, its fauna…
