A so-called Italian-style theatre with an elegant façade, gilding and red velvet, it is both a rich heritage and a unique venue for performances.

They explain that the Montpellier Occitanie National Opera Orchestra offers opera productions, symphonic concerts, chamber music concerts, baroque music, world music, concerts and educational activities each season, all of which are divided between the Berlioz Opera House and the Salle Pasteur in the Corum and the two halls of the Opéra Comédie.
To do this, it has an orchestra of 88 musicians and a choir of 32 permanent singers, as well as a unique Junior Opera formation that brings together nearly 170 young people aged 6 to 26.
