From square to square

The charm of Montpellier lies in its many squares in the Ecusson (city center). The Place de la Comédie is a must-see, the central and emblematic square of Montpellier. Ideal for taking a souvenir photo in front of the statue of the three graces or to enjoy a drink in one of the many sunny terraces.

Place Jean-Jaurès is the meeting place for a lunch or for a night out with friends. A little further, not to be missed: Place de la Canourgue, a green square with a view of the Faculty of Medicine.

Place Saint Roch, Place Sainte-Anne and Place Saint-Côme are playing host to historical monuments and are ideal for a gourmet break.

Finally, around the Prefecture, do not hesitate to allow yourself a moment of relaxation, near the fountain on the Place du Marché aux Fleurs or on the nearby Place des Martyrs de la Resistance with a view of the Triumphal Arch.
